Kefalonia Beaches
Crystal clear waters, deep blue, blue-green, as they mirror the green nature...
This is what you will find at whichever beach in Kefalonia you choose for your dives and to enjoy your swim!
The more centrally located ones are organized with sun beds and parasols, but you will find numerous beaches, equally beautiful, without, however, the human intervention.
Myrtos Beach
It is the gem in the crown of the beaches of Kefalonia! Known worldwide Myrtos, mostly awarded, vindicates the most expectations of visitors – some come in Kefalonia just to see it by close…
The landscape in Myrtos is unique, as lush vegetation, wild rocks and cliffs surround huge pure white sand with exceptionally fine white pebble. The waters here are crystal clear, blue green in shallow, clear and transparent, unique!

Antisamos Beach
Antisamos Beach is one more beach of Kefalonia, which has been awarded with the blue flag. It's a beach with small pebbles, located a few kilometres from the port of Sami. The landscape combines all shades of blue and green, where the vegetation once again grows almost into the sea.
Dafnoudi Beach
Dafnoudi is one of the beaches of Kefalonia, which to reach you will need to walk on a path, beautiful, in nature. The waters are calm, crystal clear, clear and turquoise, the sea shimmers in the sunlight and invites you to swim. Dafnoudi has large white pebbles and the shade of the trees will protect you from the heat of summer and the hot sun.
Petani Beach
Turquoise waters, fine pebbles, green nature! Petani is definitely one of the best beaches in Kefalonia, many even compare it to Myrtos!
Platis Gialos
It is a sandy beach, with fine blond sand, not too big in length, but very large in width - this is what justifies its name and distinguishes it from its next "brother", Makris Gialos. The waters are shallow, always cool and crystal clear.
Skala Beach
One of the largest beaches of Kefalonia, the beach of Skala extends to a length of more than five kilometers, in the homonymous village, in the southeast of the island. The beach of Skala is sandy, with thick, blond sand, while right at the end of the beach towards the mainland there are tall, green pines - almost the entire length!
Xi Beach
It consists of crimson sand and clay rocks, which make Xi a unique, exotic landscape. At Xi you can enjoy a natural and free spa treatment, as the gray clay of the soil helps to cleanse and tighten the skin. The waters are shallow and its orientation makes the beach windless.
Ai Helis Beach
Ai Helis is an organized beach in the south of Kefalonia, near the village of Svoronata in Livathos. It is sandy, large in area and has for visitors a multitude of umbrellas and sunbeds. The sand has the characteristic grayish color, while its waters are shallow, crystal clear and deep blue.
Kaminia Beach
Kaminia Beach is located near the village of Ratzakli and is visible and accessible through the road to/from Skala. The beach is a favourite destination for the loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta caretta) which travel thousands of miles to lay their eggs in the sand of the beach.
